Summary: The house is well equipped with everything needed. Although on three floors, the stairs are safe and well lit. The large, private roof terrace gives splendid views over the surroundings. There is an attractive, outside seating area at the main door. When we arrived, the house was cold as if it had not been occupied for a while. Being January/ February, the heating downstairs was inadequate, however, heating in the bedrooms was effective. The surrounding area has many interests including walking, geology and wildlife. The area had no restaurants open after 1700hr, however the supermarket in San José has an excellent range of meat, wine and vegetables.
