Positive: Spectacular apartment with panoramic views of the sea in an urbanisation 40 mins walk from the centre of Nerja. The hosts left us wine and nibbles, which I thought was a really lovely touch, and we were able to get in early with no hesitation from them as our flight arrived hours before official check-in.

Negative: The property is on a 6-7minutes incline by foot, so if you don't have a car, it can be tough, especially in the heat getting to the pool or to take the rubbish to the communal bins. No shop or cafe in immediate proximity to the apartment and taxi situation is very hit and miss. That said, these things didn't really bother us as the place was so stunning.
