Positive: We absolutely loved staying in this apartment. It felt like being at a cozy countryside home — warm and welcoming, with a lovely design and a huge TV that saved us on rainy days. Everything we needed for comfortable cooking was there, and everything was spotless. One of the best surprises was the terrace — barely mentioned in the listing, but actually huge, completely private, beautifully designed, and with a stunning view of both the ocean and the volcano. We had breakfast there and even did yoga — there was more than enough space. You could also see the volcano with its snow-capped peak framed by a giant palm tree through the studio window — the closest and most impressive view of the volcano we had on the island. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials, including spices, oil, and salt. The host was incredibly kind and responsive — a lovely woman who lives just below the apartment. When we arrived, we were greeted with a bottle of wine — thank you so much! There’s also a family-run pizzeria in the same building. The town itself was very pleasant and quiet, with convenient access to our favorite spots on the island — La Orotava and Garachico.

Negative: Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side — it rained most of the time and the nights were quite cold. There was a broken handle on the main room’s door, so it didn’t close properly, leaving a gap that let in the cold. We had to keep the heater on and dress warmly indoors. There was also a minor roof leak near the entrance door when it rained. We let the host know about these things at the end of our stay, and she assured us that small renovations and upgrades are planned. Sadly, I'm taking off one star for that — but on warmer days, everything would be absolutely perfect.
