El Patio is a completely refurbished ground floor apartment within the old historic walls of the City of Cadiz. It has been reburbished to a very high standard and is one of the very few apartments in Cadiz that has an outdoor space for sitting and relaxing without having to climb up many flights of stairs. You enter the main building off the quiet street of Calle Antonio Lopez through two secure doors which lead to a central atrium with natural light streaming in from the ceiling four floors above.
This apartment is modern and light and has air-conditioning for warmer summer nights and heating for colder winter months. There is free high speed Wi-Fi Internet.
The bedroom has a top of the range 150cm x 190cm Queen size bed with options of a summer or winter feather duvets. There are bedside tables and reading lights and large wardrobes with plenty of hangers. Bed linen and towels are included but not beach towels.
The bedroom leads to the modern bathroom with large walk-in shower cubicle with large shower head and a separate shower on a flexible hose. There is a heated towel rail, extractor fan and hairdryer available.
The open plan living and dining room has a round toughened glass dining table top on a solid oak base and four padded dining chairs. The living area has a large L shaped sofa, coffee table and 36" flat screen TV showing Spanish and a selection of International TV channels. The sofa offers additional sleeping for two more people should it be required and agreed in advance.
The modern kitchen has everything to make it a home from home including a washing machine, dishwasher, extractor hood, electric hob, microwave, coffee perculator, juicer and toaster. Please note that there is no oven. The kitchen leads out to the patio where there is a comfortable lounge seating area and coffee table with sun shade offering shade when required and privacy. Please note that the patio is for the exclusive use of the apartment but there are other apartments backing on to the patio and that clients need to ensure that they respect the tranquility of the area and ask that you maintain low noise levels while enjoying the space.
The apartment is located in the heart of the old city on a quiet street leading off the beautiful Plaza España which is a quiet natural space with large trees, seating and historic monuments. It is also close to Plaza Mina and Plaza San Francisco which have gardens, seating and bars and restaurants. Cadiz has the perfect mix of historic city life with the option of spending your days relaxing and cooling down on the magnificent beaches where there are many great restaurants and bars located on the sand during the summer season. You have easy access to the buses and port of Cadiz and the national rail system making it ideal to explore other parts of the region.
