The Cortijo Los Valeros is located at the end of the Natural Park of Cazorla, Segura and las Villas. An area of more than 2 hectares, surrounded on all its perimeter, through it pass two streams, one of them produces a beautiful waterfall, there is a small cave, and all surrounded by lush vegetation: oaks, oaks, walnuts, pines, ash trees, fig trees, serval and also shrubs such as strawberry tree, honeysuckle, hawthorn, barberry, juniper, cistus, cornicabra and others, and a large group of plants such as savory, marjoram, thyme, oregano, rosemary and other significant like the rock tea and the crunch or digital, without counting with an endless number of flowers that proliferate each one in its time and also several species of mushrooms, all this splendor of virgin nature and totally respected and free of poisons we have it in our farmhouse.
Of the fauna that we can enjoy without leaving the farmhouse, the mountain goat and the griffon vulture stand out, which can be seen with relative ease, for this we have a viewpoint at one of the ends of the land, which overlooks the entire Barranco del Treasure, which is the area on which it is located; also other raptors such as the booted eagle and the short-toed eagle are easy to see, especially in the summer months; the wildcat, the genet, the marten, the boar, the badger, these are more difficult to see when they are nocturnal, but they go to the food that I leave next to a small log cabin that I have built for observation and photography.
