This is one of only twelve apartments in a private development within the Mar Menor Golf Resort. They are set in landscaped grounds containing a large pool, solely for the use of owners and guests of these apartments, and children’s pool. The apartment also has its own private garden. The resort supermarket and the Mar Menor Club ( Padel tennis, Gym, Crazy Golf, Snack Bar and family area ) are within a two minute walk. The Boulevard, with several restaurants ( 18 at a recent count ! ) is just outside the resort and a 5 or 6 minutes walk from the apartment.
The main reception room comprises an open plan living/dining and kitchen area. The fabulous, modern kitchen has oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. A separate outdoor cupboard contains a washing machine. An iron and ironing board are available. There is a breakfast bar with stools, and separate dining table and chairs. The lounge area has a sofa and chairs for relaxing in, plus display units containing books, DVDs and board games for use during your stay. A flat screen TV with international channels is provided, together with a DVD player and MP3/CD music system. Free WIFI is also provided in the apartment.
There are two bedrooms, both with luxury en-suite shower rooms. The main bedroom has two single beds which can be configured as a king, with the smaller bedroom having two single beds that can also be made up as a king. Both bedrooms have drawer units and wardrobes.
All rooms are air-conditioned to provide cool air in the summer months and warm air for the cooler winter months. The rooms also all have full height sliding doors, opening onto the large patio with the garden area and golf course beyond. Outside there is a dining table and chairs, sun loungers and comfortable rattan seating. From both inside and outside you can enjoy the wonderful views of the golf course.
On the resort is a 5* hotel, where you can have something to eat or drink whilst overlooking the fabulous pool area and golf course beyond. In the resort’s Town Centre, there is a further restaurant and the community pool (opening times and entry conditions vary). Then just outside one of the resort's entrancesis"El Boulevard", a commercial areawhere you will findafurtherchoice of bars and restaurants.There is also a well-stocked Spar supermarket inside the resort.
As well as the on-site Jack Nicklaus-designed, 18-hole golf course, there arepadel courts, a tennis court, outdoor table tennis tables,anda petanca court.There is an outdoor "trim trail", with exercise equipment dotted along a meandering path, in addition toa well-equipped gym. For the children, there is aplay parkwhich hasslides, climbing frames, see-saws and swings,an animal-themed crazy golf course, and throughout the resort there are plenty of open, green areas, ideal for children to have arun around.
The resort is a short drive from thebeaches of theMar Menor and those of the Mediterranean, a littlefurther up the coast. Nearby are the beautiful cities of Cartagena and Murcia,both well wortha visit.You will also find several large shopping centres within easy reach, for a little retail thereapy.
