Positive: We had a good time at Alejandros place. The location is perfect. Short walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. We were a bit confused about the logistics of this house because of the way it's advertised . So, the duplex apartment and the two bedroom apartment are in one side of the house and on the other side is where the host lives. We all share the pool and outdoor areas. So it's not exactly a "private pool" as described. Overall Alejandro was a good host. He was kind in lending us the beach towels.

Negative: It can be noisy at times We stayed in the duplex, a nice spacious apartment, however we are one thin wall apart from the apartment. We were a bit unfortunate as our "neighbors" were loud and from our flat we could hear even bottles popping and full on conversations. Also, the balcony of the apartment is aligned with the duplex rooms windows. If you're a heavy sleeper that shouldn't be a problem, but we found it difficult at times getting our 4yo to sleep due to the noise when they were out there. The duplex is just as you see it in the pictures. If anything, I think the kitchen is quite dated and needs new utensils. As a side note it would be nice to have found more than 1 tea towel and 2 small bin bags for a 7 day stay. Also we didn't have any kitchen spray and a cloth to keep the kitchen clean and disinfected after cooking. Sounds petty but the difference in this business is about the little details.
