Positive: The apartment was lovely, spacious with good AC and good kitchen and washing machine. Excellent location near the beach and many restaurants. It was under 10 minutes from the centre of Nerja and main attractions such as Balcon Du Europa. Lovely pool and our apartment had an amazing view.

Negative: The Renterus app did not work properly and would only verify and not store passport identification details so we could not access details of where to collect our key which was stressful given it was 10.30pm at night and we were travelling with two young children. Luckily I found an old email from booking.com which told us the location was a nearby hotle for collection of keys. In Addition the address on Booking.com did not match actual address so our transfer driver could not find our accommodation and we were lost for an hour while he tried to establish which building was the correct address. He thought it was building 9 but that was the apartment number. The Palmeras building actually had number 13 on it. To add to the confusion this is not the only Palmeras resort in Nerja so he drove us to the wrong one initially. When we finally arrived he had to drive us back to another hotel ( MB boutique to collect our keys). When we arrived back at Palmeras the key did not work so he Rang the MB boutique Hotel only to be told we had to use the fob. Overall it was not the best check in experience and was very problematic from the beginning to end. We only got one key but we really needed two keys. When we checked out we had to drag all of our luggage from one apartment to MB boutique and order our transfer to collect us from here as it was the only place to store our luggage. Fresh towels and sheets were available for each week we stayed but the apartment was not cleaned at all during our stay, except by us!

Summary: A Great stay in a lovely apartment but check in process is convoluted and problematic.
