This lovely stone cottage is situated in the triangle of the Bastide towns of Monpazier, Beaumont-du-Périgord and Villeréal. It is part of a small farm restoration, comprising of a holiday cottage converted from a stone barn, the original farmhouse, where the property owners (Jackie & Jim) live and a converted tabac barn now used as Jim’s joinery workshop. There is a large covered terrace with built in BBQ attached to the rear of the cottage with direct access to a private 5M x 10M salt water infinity pool.The upstairs of the property has three bedrooms, one with en-suite and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Downstairs there is a large lounge with a central heating wood burner, fully equipped kitchen/dining, walk-in shower room with separate WC , washing machine and sink. Private parking, large garden with panoramic views over the 5 hectares of the property.

Summary: Beautiful gite in a spectacular location. Jacqueline and Jim (and Jed!) were great hosts, discreet but readily on hand to answer questions. We’ve had a lovely week, and have left fully relaxed. Hope to return very soon!
