From here, it is also easy to access the Island of Ons, part of the Atlantic Islands National Park, a natural paradise with trails and virgin coves.
For those who enjoy hiking, the Monte do Facho route offers spectacular views over the estuary and the possibility of visiting an ancient Celtic castro, while the walk along the Frade River passes by old mills.
Bueu vibrates especially during the summer, with traditional festivals like the Festa do Polbo in August, where Galician octopus is the great protagonist, although it also preserves its most authentic spirit in the patron saint celebrations of San Martiño in November.
