There are numerous cycle tracks surrounding the area affording easy access to approx 13 kms of Mar Menor beaches, (cycle hire available very close by to the property). Due to the relatively flat nature of the local area , walking and cycling is popular for many visitors .San Pedro Del Pinatar has a nice selection of boutiques, bars and restaurants and a popular market is held in the town centre on Monday mornings. There is a Marina offering the water sport enthusiast scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, windsurfing and sailing. Lo Pagan is 15 minutes walk with family friendly beaches and restaurants and cafe bars.There are numerous golf courses within a 20 minute drive which include La Manga, Roda and Mar Menor Golf Resort. Alicante is approximately 50 mins by car and the larger market town of Murcia is a similar distance. the very popular La Manga strip is also approximately 1 hours drive away also offering popular beaches with various watersports together with and a variety of bars, restaurants.There is a local supermarket , English style pub-bar, Indian Restaurant and good quality Italian Restaurant also within a five minutes walking distance.
