Can Martí is a village house managed by the same family for three generations and is located in the small rural center of La Vall or La Vila d'Avall located less than 1 km from the municipality of Capmany, in the Alt region Empordà (Girona-Costa Brava Norte). Capmany is a rural town dedicated almost exclusively to viticulture and has many excellent wineries in D. O. Empordà.
After a complex rehabilitation carried out always taking care to preserve its natural essence, Can Martí has become a comfortable and functional house, well equipped and more than willing to receive world travelers seeking the calm and tranquility that a rural environment can provide of vineyards, grazing fields, olive groves and holm oak.
In Can Martí, what first attracts attention is its narrow stone front as a typical old building. Currently, we have enhanced its facade with the installation of two wooden pergolas that cover the two existing terraces. These pergolas also have awnings of technical and waterproof fabric that shade and protect the outdoor spaces fantastically for your greater enjoyment, whether in summer or winter.
In the house vehicles cannot be accessed but we have arranged a private and nearby space where a couple of cars can be parked. Recently a delicious mini-pool has been installed in the small inner courtyard, as an old pool, very suitable for cooling off on hot summer days.
The house has three floors, with heating and air conditioning in all rooms, as well as free Wi-Fi.
Its distribution is:
Ground floor and street level: interior patio with the mini-pool and the original domed porch, with manual brick and equipped with a nice sofa set, garden tables and chairs. Inside there is an exclusive kitchen space for the barbecue, a toilet, the boiler room and a spacious room enabled as a living room, TV and games. To highlight also the vaulted ceiling of preserved stone.
First floor: Outside stairs lead to the terrace equipped with wooden table and chairs. Inside there is a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, with a dining space and a small kitchen open to the room itself, a bathroom with shower, a pantry and a room with a 135x190 double bed. There are also the stairs that lead to the second floor.
Second floor: Room with a double bed of 135x190, a full bathroom and the main room equipped with a double bed of 150x190, with access to the second terrace. Highlights here are the large skylights installed to provide extra brightness to the entire house.
