Positive: This is a beautiful house, very spacious and thoughtfully renovated. There is a lovely garden patio as well as a roof terrace, so plenty of options for outside space The location is excellent, easy walking distance to the central square and to a number of really good restaurants. There are plenty of things to do in this small town and the local people are very friendly and helpful. Our host Maria was exceptionally kind and helpful. She was full of suggestions and ideas for places to visit, restaurants to eat at etc. When my husband unfortunately fell ill during the second week Maria called the ambulance on two occasions and followed up with really helpful practical support including driving me to the hospital he’d been transferred to and sorting out a hotel in that town. We’ve been back in England a few weeks now and Maria still checks in on us every few days.
