Summary: We can't say enough about our hosts, Rafael and Mercedes! We contacted each other via Whatsapp to arrange to meet at the villa making it really straight forward, and they arrived bearing a welcome basket of gifts (snacks, salad and local drinks etc.). The villa was very spacious inside and out. We were staying as a small family (with two teenagers) so didn't need all the bedrooms, but it could easily accommodate an extended family or several families wanting a group holiday. The bedrooms we used were very comfortable (all of which had ensuites) and had everything you would need for your stay (shampoo, towels etc.). The property is securely gated and has room for a couple of cars. We spent the evenings at the table outside enjoying the views, the peace, the bats flitting about at dusk, and later the magnificent starscape! The kids enjoyed swimming in the beautifully maintained pool. There is an outdoor kitchen by the pool well set up for barbeque but we didn't use that. We don't speak Spanish, and Rafael and Mercedes don't speak English, but this wasn't an issue as we communicated just fine via google translate on our phones. They helped us more than we can say with our visit to Granada and the Alhambra. Thank you, Mercedes and Rafael, for your wonderful Villa, and your generous hospitality!
