The House is a unique property in the wonderful rural Concello of A Lama, in the dry heart of as Rias Baixas. The house known as Casa do Médico or Casa do Medio is located in the City Hall of A Lama, it has a great history behind it. Built in 1740, the previous owner was the village doctor, where besides being his usual home, was the place where he developed his activity. For more than 50 years, the lower floors of the house were used as blocks of cows, sheep and horses of the owners. These rooms are now rehabilitated and converted into a dining area, lounge and kitchen. All rooms are exterior, with large windows, stone stairs and cozy corners that convey peace and tranquility. The house has an area of about 400 square meters divided into two floors and several levels. The perfectly conditioned garden, with a variety of plants and unique trees, together with the area of fruit trees and the forest occupy an approximate area of 9,000 square meters The pool located in a high and sunny area of the garden with views of the mountains , is an ideal place to find relaxation among centuries-old trees. It has a solarium area enabled with sun loungers and hammocks. Near the pool there is a tent located on a stone slab of the country. It is the ideal place to enjoy a breakfast with local products, or a nice dinner on one of those summer nights where you can enjoy the tranquility and sound of the nearby waterfall. The farm is closed with hazel trees, laurels, strawberry trees and serbales, a chestnut tree and a large oak. The fruit trees of wide variety and the orchard taken care of with the maximum affection by the owner, will allow us to enjoy freshly picked fruits and vegetables. The south orientation of the property, allows us to enjoy the sun all day, while we find plenty of shaded areas and cozy corners for rest, although the thick stone walls of the house, ensure a pleasant temperature inside of housing. The house is designed for enjoyment, everything in it encourages relaxation. The impressive view of the garden makes the small village where it is part of it, the pool and its solarium area enjoys a privileged privacy. You can access the large farm of 9000 meters and the small garden very spoiled by the caretakers of the house. The House is magnificently connected with the most important tourist spots in the area, with the City of Pontevedra at 30 minutes, Vigo at 40 minutes (Both with the possibility of using public transport by bus) Ourense, as a thermal paradise at 1 hour, Rías Baixas with its wonderful beaches at 30 -40 min. From the house we can manage visits to the Illas Atlánticas National Park, Castillo de Soutomaior, visits to Bodegas DO Rías Baixas, Balneario de Mondariz or any other place of interest for the traveler.
