LIVE IN THE PALOMAR

A LITTLE HISTORY
The original building from the end of the 19th century was owned by the Guerra family, and was typical of a lowland Castilian family. The lower part of the house was used to keep cattle in the stables like males, mules, sheep, chickens etc ... They transmitted heat to the upper part of the house where the farmers lived. In the back of the house there was a large pigeon house that served throughout the year a delicacy for the palate in those times of famine as were the pigeons. Although during the works can not be left standing, the pigeon house is rescued to give name to the establishment next to the street where the "loft of the slope" is located. In the mid-twentieth century passed into the hands of Luis Pérez "el Lagunero", later to the Pérez Gutiérrez family who finally sold it to the current owners the Alonso Macua family, who has restored the building and runs the business.
