A good base for day trips to the valleys of the central Pyrenees, Lourdes, Pic du Midi, and Pau; near to Marciac jazz and the Madiran vineyards.
Local and vibrant markets are within a short driving distance. Visitors can sample famous South-West gastronomy at a range of country restaurants and bars.
