Surrounded by exceptional beauty and an escape from the hustle and bustle of the better-known tourist traps, the valley is a favourite destination for people who enjoy walking, nature and eco-tourism.

The bustling, authentic town of Sóller is a 20 minute walk away with a lively plaza, cafes and bars and a traditional Saturday market. From here, a ‘must do’ day trip in the region is to ditch the car and take the scenic railway to Palma via vintage train.

Around Sóller the landscape in spring is covered with oranges, lemons and olives. Beautiful local villages such as Biniaraix itself and Fornalutx are the best places from which to appreciate this landscape.
