Location and exterior
Charming villa located in a landscape of beautiful green mountains of the Sierras Subbéticas. Once here, it is surprising that the capital of Jaén is only 15 kilometres away. The house is located in a unique environment of holm oaks and rock roses in the south of Jaén, surrounded by beautiful gardens and viewpoints from where you can enjoy magnificent views of the surroundings of the Sierra de la Pandera, the Río Frío and the olive groves of the province of Jaén. It is a paradise for lovers of hiking and for those who want to enjoy the oldest and most beautiful cities of Andalusia, such as Úbeda (80km), Baeza (68km) or Granada (116km).
Outside, we find a corner with garden furniture among the trees for outdoor meals - there is a barbecue. The views of the landscape from the tempting pool are unbeatable and invite you to relax with a good book in one of its sun loungers.
On a lower level, there is another completely independent villa with its own private pool that can be rented together with this one (see ref. Villa Jaén 003). Both houses are connected by an interior staircase that can be closed on both sides. This option is ideal for families who want to go on holiday together, while each preserving their own space and privacy. In case both houses are rented separately, privacy is still guaranteed, as each has its own independent and completely fenced plot, and thanks to being on a different level of land from the other, you will enjoy complete privacy in any part of the house, garden and pool.
Not far from the house there is a restaurant-grill that you can walk to. Access to the house is paved and there is a parking area.
Interior and layout
The interior of the house stands out for its careful design, with quality materials and a rustic atmosphere where all the traditional elements, such as stone or century-old wooden beams, have been respected. It has an Andalusian decoration, with good taste, using traditional elements with a predominance of raw colours, plant fabrics, wood and glass, with a good eye for detail. All the rooms are on the same floor. The living/dining room has 2 sofas, a fireplace, TV and DVD player. The semi-open kitchen is very well equipped, with a 4-burner ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There are two elegantly decorated bedrooms (1 with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds). It has a very well-kept bathroom.
